Biography

A successful model, and a not so successful actor Bikram Saluja was Graviera Man of the Year (1994). He was once a fine tennis player with national level potential but destiny had something else in store for him after he won Grasim Mr India. After a stint in modelling, where he was a smashing success, he stepped off the ramp. He has also performed in platform plays like 'Vasavadatta', 'Karmbhumi' and 'Kiski Biwi Kiska Shohar'. Though his portrayal as a handsome lover in Asha Bhonsle's music video
'Parde me rahne do' and Bali Brahmbhatts 'Tere bin jeena nahin' with Anupama Verma hit the charts, his inconsequential roles in movies such as 'Fiza' (2000), 'LOC Kargil' (2003) and 'Page 3' (2005) didn't do much for him.

Bikram Saluja made his debut with Khaled Mohammed?s Fiza opposite Karishma Kapoor.

2003 He was seen with another male model turned actor Milind Soman in Rakhail ? The Mistress. He was part of a huge star cast in J.P.Dutta?s LOC Kargil as Captain Sanjeev Jamwal.

2004 He acted with Sanjay Dutt, Dino Morea and Sanjay Suri in Plan.

2005 He took on the role of a big time actor Rohit Kumar who takes advantage of an aspiring actress played by Tara Sharma in Madhur Bhandarkar?s Page 3.

2006 In the remake of Umrao Jaan, he played Ashraf.

2007 He was seen in the comedy Just Married, directed by Meghana Gulzar.

2009 Saluja?s first release in the year was the sports based 42 Kms as the ambitious Ravi Anand. The movie also starred Mandira Bedi and Purab Kohli.
