Current Status: 
Currently Madhuri's career is in limbo despite a super duper hit like 'Dil To Pagal Hai'. The film's success will only stabilise her temporarily but it certainly won't get her back into the reckoning. Last year this woman had too many flops - 'Koyla', 'Mahaanta', 'Mohabbat' and even an experiment like 'Mrityudand' failed. The major switchover from commercial to art cinema backfired. It looks as though these are the last few significant years in this damsel's career... 

Strengths: 
Still a superb actress and dancer as well as being professional to the core. 

Weaknesses: 
Madhuri isn't getting any younger and thats the problem. One or two hits will not make much difference to her career... Madhuri is definitely past her prime. 

What to watch for: 
N. Chandra's 'Wajood' (with Nana Patekar & Mukul Dev), Boney Kapoor's 'Pukaar' (with Anil Kapoor), the bilingual 'Engineer' (with Arvind Swamy), K.C Bokadia's 'Aap Mere Hai Sanam' (with Shah Rukh & Salman) & 'Arzoo' (with Akshay & Saif).
