Hungama revolves around Anjali (Rimi Sen), who arrives in Mumbai escaping from enforced matrimony, looking for a job. She ends up sharing a house with Nandu (Aftab Shivdasani), since their landlord only wants couples as tenants, suspecting infidelity on the part of his wife.
